Fairfield House
Fairfield House is a gorgeous wedding venue situated in the heart of Nelson City. The house itself is a historic building with plenty of charm and character that is surrounded by beautiful established gardens, a brick-paved courtyard, and a large grassed area to the back.
Wedding Ceremony Options:
Fairfield house has so many ceremony options to choose from, one of our favourites is having your ceremony in the brick-paved courtyard beside the House, we have also seen ceremonies held inside the house itself and in the grasses space to the back of the building. All are beautiful and unique in their own ways.
Wedding Reception Options:
As for wedding reception options, Fairfield House itself is a stunning venue for a reception, with wooden floors, vintage charm and white walls. The House itself has two large rooms which are often used for the reception sit down area and the other used for dancing. You could also have your reception outside in the courtyard with the festoon lights hanging above tables etc.
Location:
Fairfield House is located in central Nelson and 10 minutes from Nelson Airport. The venue itself is located just around the corner from Melrose House and Nelson Girls College. Parking is limited to 15 vehicles or so but is not far from everything in Nelson so it would be easy enough to organise transport to and from cheaply.
